Each set is individually handcrafted within our family atelier using traditional techniques of artistic casting, hand chasing, sculptural metalwork, and meticulous finishing. The solid sterling silver elements are enriched with 24K gold vermeil and carefully applied silver patina, creating a harmonious contrast that enhances the depth, texture, and intricate details of the composition.

At the center stands a sculptural Havdalah accessory formed as a rustic village house, recalling the humble wooden homes that lined the narrow streets of the shtetl. Its welcoming form symbolizes family, spiritual shelter, and the warmth of Jewish domestic life.

Beside it, the Besamim spice container takes the form of a bundle of hay, referencing the agricultural traditions, simplicity, and honest labor that sustained village families. The ceremonial wine cup is sculpted as a traditional wooden barrel, inspired by the rainwater barrels once found in village courtyards and symbolizing the everyday rhythms of shtetl life.

The elements rest upon a sculptural tray designed to resemble a tree stump, symbolizing rootedness, endurance, and the unbroken connection between generations. Its naturalistic form reflects the close relationship between village life and the surrounding landscape, reinforcing the composition's themes of continuity, heritage, and belonging.

The artistic concept draws inspiration from the sacred transition marked by the Havdalah ceremony. As the first stars appeared in the night sky, families gathered to bid farewell to the Queen of Shabbat with blessings over wine, fragrant spices, and candlelight. Through its carefully composed sculptural elements, “Shtetl Havdalah” captures this intimate moment of spiritual reflection, remembrance, and renewal.

Both functional and sculptural, this exceptional Judaica set is conceived for ceremonial use, distinguished interiors, and private collections. Combining traditional silversmithing with meaningful Jewish symbolism, it represents a collectible work of decorative art and an heirloom celebrating the enduring heritage of the shtetl.
