“Kingdom of the Sea” Sterling Silver, 24K Gold & Enamel Champagne Cooler Set

This exceptional sculptural champagne cooler and six-goblet set celebrates the mystery and abundance of the ocean through an elaborate composition of sterling silver, 24-karat gold gilding, hot enamel, and precious gemstone accents. Conceived as both a functional champagne service and an extraordinary decorative artwork, the design brings together sculptural mermaids, colorful fish, seashells, coral formations, marine vegetation, and jewel-like details in a richly imagined underwater world. The contrast between softly patinated sterling silver, brilliant gold, vivid enamel, and polished gemstones gives the ensemble remarkable depth, color, and sculptural presence.

The monumental champagne cooler measures approximately 60 cm (23.6 inches) in length and is accompanied by six matching champagne goblets, each measuring approximately 20 cm (7.9 inches) in height. The interior surfaces are finished in luxurious 24-karat gold vermeil, creating a luminous golden contrast with the sculptural silver exterior. Each piece is crafted from 925 sterling silver, enriched with 24-karat gold gilding and traditional hot enamel, and set with ametrine and topaz gemstones. The cooler is supported by two sculptural mermaids surrounded by an intricate marine landscape, while the six goblets continue the theme with mermaid stems, jeweled seashell bases, coral ornamentation, and individually decorated fish motifs.

Every silver component begins as an original hand-carved wax sculpture created within the Konforti family atelier. Once the sculptural models have been perfected, the elements are cast individually in sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax casting technique, preserving the intricate textures of the mermaids, fish, shells, coral, and marine vegetation. Following casting, the components undergo extensive hand finishing, including chasing, engraving, fitting, assembly, patination, gilding, hot-enamel work, gemstone setting, and meticulous polishing.

Every example is individually handcrafted within the Konforti family atelier and produced exclusively to order with an estimated production time of approximately 5-6 months from order confirmation. As part of the artistic process and provenance of the work, the client receives a complimentary signed original design sketch prepared by the atelier.

The Konforti family atelier is a multi-generational workshop led by Inga and Barak Konforti and founded by master artists Ella Konforti and Yuri Bogoslavsky.
