This exceptional sculptural champagne goblet from the “Kingdom of the Sea” collection celebrates the mystery and beauty of the ocean through an elaborate composition of sterling silver, 24-karat gold gilding, hot enamel, and precious gemstone accents. Conceived as both a functional drinking vessel and a miniature sculptural artwork, the goblet brings together a graceful mermaid, colorful fish, seashells, coral formations, marine vegetation, and jewel-like details inspired by an imagined underwater kingdom. The contrast between softly patinated sterling silver, brilliant gold, vivid enamel, and polished gemstones gives the piece remarkable depth, color, and sculptural presence.

The champagne goblet measures approximately 20 cm (7.9 inches) in height and is crafted from 925 sterling silver, with its interior finished in luxurious 24-karat gold vermeil. The exterior is enriched with 24-karat gold gilding and traditional hot enamel and set with ametrine and topaz gemstones. A sculptural mermaid forms the stem of the goblet, rising from an elaborate marine-inspired base decorated with seashells, coral, fish, gemstones, and underwater vegetation. Above her, the silver cup is surrounded by intricate gilt coral formations and colorful hot-enamel fish, transforming the functional vessel into an elaborate work of decorative art.

Every silver component begins as an original hand-carved wax sculpture created within the Konforti family atelier. Once the sculptural model has been perfected, the elements are cast individually in sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax casting technique, preserving the intricate textures of the mermaid, fish, shells, coral, and marine vegetation. Following casting, the components undergo extensive hand finishing, including chasing, engraving, fitting, assembly, patination, gilding, hot-enamel work, gemstone setting, and meticulous polishing.

This listing is for one champagne goblet. Additional matching goblets may be commissioned upon request allowing collectors to create a champagne service tailored to their desired size. Every example is individually handcrafted within the Konforti family atelier and produced exclusively to order with an estimated production time of approximately 3 months from order confirmation. As part of the artistic process and provenance of the work, the client receives a complimentary signed original design sketch prepared by the atelier.
