This monumental handcrafted Judaica centerpiece, titled "The Eternal Jerusalem," is conceived as a celebration of the eternal bond between Jerusalem, Jewish tradition, and the sanctity of the Sabbath. The architectural composition is individually hand carved from authentic Jerusalem stone, preserving its distinctive texture and natural character while transforming it into an elegant architectural framework reminiscent of the timeless masonry found throughout the Holy City.

The centerpiece measures approximately 38 cm (15 inches) in height and 28 cm (11 inches) in width, creating impressive proportions ideally suited for luxury residences, synagogues, executive offices, distinguished Judaica collections, and museum-quality exhibitions.

At the heart of the composition are a series of original oil paintings created by master artist Yuri Bogoslavsky on Kosher Klaf (parchment), a material traditionally reserved for the writing of sacred Jewish texts. Each painting is individually executed by hand, transforming the centerpiece into a unique collection of original fine artworks.

One side of the composition celebrates the beauty and abundance of the Sukkot holiday, portraying the lively atmosphere of the traditional Four Species market where etrogim and lulavim are selected in preparation for the holiday. Additional paintings depict symbolic fruits in the Jewish tradition including pomegranates, grapes, figs, wheat, and olives, alongside ritual objects such as the lulav, etrog, silver etrog box, prayer books, Kiddush vessels, and landscapes celebrating agricultural blessings.

The reverse side presents an inspiring vision of the Third Beit Hamikdash, rising gloriously above Jerusalem as a symbol of hope, redemption, and the enduring spiritual future of the Jewish people. Surrounding this heavenly vision are artistic representations of the Seven Species (Shivat HaMinim) including grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and wheat, together with wine, sacred books, and other traditional Jewish symbols celebrating faith, continuity, and divine promise.

The sculptural ornamentation throughout the centerpiece is executed entirely in 925 sterling silver and serves as an elegant counterpoint to the warm tones of the Jerusalem stone. Decorative floral garlands, architectural embellishments, and ornamental borders are richly adorned with vibrant hot enamel, individually hand-carved amethysts, luminous freshwater pearls, and refined 18-karat yellow gold gilding, creating a luxurious interplay of color, precious materials, and craftsmanship.

Every silver component is individually handcrafted from 925 sterling silver using the traditional lost-wax casting process. Each decorative ornament is first meticulously hand carved in wax before being transferred into sterling silver through centuries-old lost-wax casting techniques. Following casting, every element is individually hand chased, engraved, assembled, polished, and finished by master craftsmen before receiving its brilliant 18-karat yellow gold gilding where appropriate. The result is extraordinary sculptural depth, refined texture, and exceptional artistic precision throughout the entire composition.

The original paintings are individually executed by Yuri Bogoslavsky, whose work reflects decades of dedication to art, Jewish art, and traditional painting techniques. Every brushstroke is painted by hand using professional oil paints on Kosher parchment, ensuring that each centerpiece possesses subtle artistic variations that make every example truly unique.

One of the accompanying photographs illustrates the traditional artist's pigment powders used in the creation of the original oil paintings. These finely ground mineral and earth pigments represent the raw materials from which the rich colors are carefully prepared before being mixed with the painting medium. Included to provide collectors with a rare glimpse into the classical materials employed in the creation of each original work, the photograph highlights the traditional artistic methods used throughout the creative process.

Matching Sabbath candlesticks, handcrafted in Jerusalem stone, sterling silver, hot enamel, garnets and original oil painting techniques, are available separately to complete the full ceremonial ensemble. Every example is individually handcrafted within the Konforti family atelier and produced entirely to order with a lead time of approximately 7 months from order confirmation. As part of the artistic process and provenance of the work, each collector receives a complimentary signed original design sketch prepared by the atelier.
