The "Guardian Owl" wine pitcher is a sculptural Art Deco work that unites symbolism, functionality, and master craftsmanship. The owl an ancient and majestic bird with luminous eyes-has long been revered as a guardian of primordial knowledge. It is traditionally believed that the presence of such a sculptural object within the home brings wisdom, good fortune, and financial prosperity.
Designed specifically as a wine pitcher, the piece balances practical use with strong decorative presence, making it suitable both for ceremonial service and as a sculptural centerpiece.

Each pitcher is crafted exclusively for the client, estimated lead time is approximately 4-5 months from order confirmation.
At the center of the composition the bohemian crystal element may be replaced upon the client’s request with a magnificent hand chased solid silver vessel further elevating the piece into a fully sculptural silver centerpiece.
The pitcher stands 42 cm in height and is crafted from 925 sterling silver, with the interior surfaces in 24K gold vermeil, ensuring both durability and refinement when in contact with wine. The owl’s expressive eyes are set with tiger’s eye and black onyx, enhancing the character and symbolic intensity of the form.
The body of the owl is executed in finely engraved crystal, carved to resemble layered feathers and designed to catch and reflect light with striking clarity. 

All elements are assembled using traditional master techniques associated with the workshop practices of Peter Carl Fabergé, ensuring structural integrity, longevity, and a high level of artisanal excellence.
Additionally to the finished piece, the client will receive a complementary signed original design sketch prepared by the atelier and presented as part of the artistic process and provenance of the commission.

Each piece is created within the Konforti family atelier, a multi-generational workshop led by Inga and Barak Konforti, and founded by master artists Ella and Yuri Bogoslavsky. Every work is entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques, sculptural metalwork, and meticulous stone setting, continuing a shared artistic legacy shaped across generations.
